Social Media giant- Facebook has announced a new consumer marketing campaign known as ‘More Together’ in India.
The newly launched campaign will share stories, driving attention to the power of connections on the platform, this marks the first campaign launched by Facebook in India.
The mastermind behind the campaign is the creative agency of Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) India, and has been conceptualized and executed by Taproot Dentsu. Sources reveal the campaign will feature advertisements in eight languages which will be released in India within the next couple of weeks. The campaign will further take over mediums like digital, out of home, radio and cinema.
Facebook will endorse the campaign through promotions and marketing in India and launch several such advertising campaigns with regards to the family of apps.
In the wake of the latest development, the first television commercial of the campaign went on air on Saturday. It was directed by Shimit Amin of Chak De! Fame.
The campaign follows the renewed branding for the Facebook company which was announced in November 2019. The project introduced a new company logo to distinguish the company from the app.
“Over the last few years, in the absence of Facebook telling a story about itself, invariably that story has been written by others. And we are quite keen to change that. We are going to reach out to every part of the country. Our own family of apps will be at the heart of this campaign,” commented Facebook India managing director Ajit Mohan on the latest development.
